Sony SRS-NB10, SRS-NS7 Wireless Neckband Speakers, WLA-NS7 Wireless Transmitter Now Available in India.

On Wednesday, Sony launched the SRS-NB10 and SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speakers, as well as the Sony WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter, in India. The audio products are designed to make working from home and watching movies at home more enjoyable. The Sony SRS-NB10 allows users to make and receive calls while listening to music on the go. When paired with the WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter, the Sony SRS-NS7 speakers feature Dolby Atmos for a personal cinema sound experience, according to Sony. Sony WF-1000XM3, Sony WH-1000XM4, Sony WH-XB700, and Sony WI-1000XM2 headphones are also compatible with the wireless transmitter.

The Sony SRS-NB10 speakers come with a full-range speaker unit with embedded passive radiators for enhanced bass. The speakers are designed for online conferences when working from home or the office, according to Sony. Precise Voice Pickup Technology, which consists of two high-quality directional microphones combined with advanced audio signal processing, is included. By reducing echo, the technology allows for clearer calls.
The microphone mute button, touch-sensitive volume rocker, and play/pause button are all included on the Sony SRS-NB10 neckband speakers. The speakers can last up to 20 hours on a single charge, according to Sony, and they can be charged using a USB Type-C port. The speakers also have quick charging technology, with a 10-minute charge providing up to an hour of playtime, according to the company. The Sony SRS-NB10 is rated IPX4 for water resistance.
Thanks to Dolby Atmos and the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app, the Sony SRS-NB10 neckband speakers deliver cinematic surround sound. With Sony’s BRAVIA XR models, Sony claims that the SRS-NS7 are the world’s first Dolby Atmos compatible wireless neckband speakers. The 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer smartphone app, according to the company, takes photos of your ears and analyses unique hearing characteristics in order to provide “a truly personalized experience.”

Sony SRS-NB7 Wireless Neckband Speaker: Specifications

Sony claims that the SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speakers can last up to 12 hours on a single charge and up to five hours at maximum volume. They also have fast charging capabilities, with Sony claiming that a 10-minute charge via USB Type-C port can provide up to an hour of playtime. These speakers are also water-resistant, with an IPX4 rating.

Sony WLA-NS7 Wireless Transmitter: Specifications

To get the most out of the wireless neckband speaker, connect the Sony WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter (sold separately) to the TV via optical and USB cables, then pair the Sony SRS-NS7 neckband speaker with the transmitter via Bluetooth. In addition to Dolby Atmos, the speakers feature an upward-facing X-Balanced Speaker Unit and a passive radiator for clear bass.

Starting January 24, Sony Center, e-commerce portals such as Amazon, ShopAtSC, and major electronic stores across India will sell Sony SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speakers for Rs. 11,990, Sony SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speakers for Rs. 22,990, and Sony WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter for Rs. 5,690, according to Sony. The Sony SRS-NB10 speakers were released in July of last year, and the Sony SRS-NS7 speakers were released in October.
